Ah yes John, I am so glad you have finally gotten some good weather back there, not only for you but for the rest of us! We now get to take in your Maine with all of its glory.

The Osprey overhead capture is absolutely incredible with those big yellow eyes looking right at you. Being a birder would make me have to say it is my favorite in this post but no... the portrait shot of the Red Fox kit, with those beautiful blue eyes has taken my heart. What a great sighting! We have had Gray Fox at our place but your capture of that kit is priceless.

I am looking forward to more great posts from Birding In Maine now that spring has finally gotten there. It sounds like you will be one busy guy!

As for the Bald Eagles pirating from Ospreys, I wrote a post over a year ago with links to an article on the subject your readers may want to see <a href="http://www.thebirdersreport.com/wild-birds/bird-sightings/bald-eagle-pirating-fish-from-osprey" rel="nofollow">here</a>.

John, your photos in this post are just AWESOME! I love the Osprey in flight, the Foxes and the Titmice courting and mating! That Osprey must have been right above your head!
