Early to rise on a frosty Tuesday morning, heading to Damariscotta Mills, Maine for an Osprey photo shoot. This was the view upon arriving at my destination. Sea smoke and fog rolling off of the Great Salt Bay.
The day turned out to be beautiful and the Osprey were very cooperative.
For those interested, there is a festival at Damariscotta Mills this holiday weekend.

Thanks for my weekly Maine scenic fix. I hope those osprey photos will be showing up here also! Have fun at the dance! (BTW, is it hard to dance with a camera in your hand?)
What peacefulness! Absolutely gorgeous! I so want to be there!
What a nice view John. A frosty morning, huh? It’s been a while since I’ve seen frost and I hope it stays that way. I’m loving the warmer days and nights.
Hope you’ll have some more Osprey pictures to show us!

Hey John, cool photo for SWF. Nice contrast of the fog with the blue sky.
I tried to reach you by email at the address you give in your contact info: administrator@birdingmaine.com but got a mail delivery failure notice. I wanted to find out what happened to the Wildbird Weekend Meme?
Nice foggy photo! Glad you will be able to meet us all in Ma.
John, love the scenic photo of that gorgeous state of yours. So pretty.
