Gorgeous. I love how the water forms the perfect mirror to reflect that wonderful sunrise.

Superb shot ‘of as above, so below’. Seldom is the reflection the same as the subject. Beautifully balanced shot.

Janice April 3, 2009 at 4:08 pm

Wow! This is an amazing shot. I love the simplicity, and the way the water is reflecting not the land but the beautiful orange of the sky, and then the foreground which breaks up the symmetry. Beautiful!

Oz Girl April 3, 2009 at 4:19 pm

Sunrise is all about clarity…and this is just wonderful! The colors are exquisite. Too bad I’m not a morning person, much more of a night owl/sunset kind of girl…

Linda Jacobs April 3, 2009 at 7:53 pm

Oh, this is so beautiful! The starkness and the peacefulness and the apricot. Divine!

Beautiful.
I used to live in Millbridge and Corea by the Sea. Beautiful country, lovely views all around.
Thanks for this photo on a snowy Minnesota morning.

Kathiesbirds April 7, 2009 at 3:40 am

Beautiful and serene. A lovely glassy sea to reflect the morning’s rainbow sky! The few scattered gulls compliment the horizontal lines and marry the earth to the sky! This is skywatching at its best!
