Chipping Sparrow – Spizella passerina The “Chippers” have returned! Once the American Tree Sparrows leave, it’s not long until the Chipping Sparrow makes a comback here in Maine. Only one year did the Tree Sparrow and Chipping Sparrow share our yard at the same time.
