Such a beautiful part of Northern New England. Jeff and I spent a few weeks near Pittsburg lake and the Ct. lakes. Lots of moose..wildlife. We werent birders then. These photos make me want to go back!

What a wonderful trip that must have been. Everything looks so cool and refreshing. My favorite photos are Dixville Notch and the third Connecticut lake, but all are beautiful.

I remember as a kid in New Hampshire, on a hot summers day my father jump into one of those stream pools. He came up gasping for air…the water was icy freezing cold! I’ll never forget that
