I remember as a kid in New Hampshire, on a hot summers day my father jump into one of those stream pools. He came up gasping for air...the water was icy freezing cold! Jeff and I spent a few weeks near Pittsburg lake and the Ct. lakes. Lots of moose..wildlife. We werent birders then.
