Great shot…we have never been to Maine, but hear it is beautiful there. Growing up we used to have a lot of Martin bird houses. Birds are fun!!

Beth, thank you for visiting and your comment. It’s greatly appreciated.

I love your Wordless Wednesday photo of the Central PA landscape. Makes me homesick as I am a Pennsylvanian transplanted and living along the mid coast of Maine.

Popcorn House, thank you for visiting and your comments!

Maine is beautiful, your family should visit sometime.

Your Wordless Wednesday photo of your daughter having a dinner party is sweet!

Great shot. Reveals such texture on the bird.

That shot is amazing. It could be in National Geographic. What kind of lens did you use?

So beautiful – really stands out against the background!

Hi Alvis, thanks for stopping by!

I use a Cannon 100-400mm IS L lens. The photo was taken on Mt. Desert Island in Acadia National Park back in September. I was about 30 yards away from the subject.

National Geographic huh? Wow!

Shelley, I love the background too. My only problem with the shot is the top of the bill is too bright, couldn’t tone it down anymore.

Thanks for stopping by!

John
