There’s that handsome bird I love so much! The only place I’ve ever seen them is sitting on a wire. Nice.

beautiful capture.
Hi John,
Another of your great shots. you are giving us nice series to see now. I love this eastern kingbird, it is wonderful! great shot and beautiful composition
Lovely shot.
That is a spectacular shot, John! I love the contrasting color or the bird against the backdrop of the leaves, and the red of what looks to be sumac berries gives it a little extra “POP”!
I’ve had western kingbirds in my yard this week, I love listening to their song. some day I would like to own a camera and learn how to do what you do. Beautiful work. Here’s my WW hope you can stop by!
Nice Shot John! was the kingbird eating the sumac berries or just hanging out looking for bugs?
Beautiful capture of that bird. Happy WW!
Beautiful bird. Great WW
Great shot John and so clear. I always seem to only be able to get butt shots of kigbirds for some reason.
Great shot
Craziest thing happened this morning cleaning my pool. First time I’ve had a bird Kamakazi me. I watched this bird charge me as I came out of my slider from 75 feet away LOL. So, this led me to this search. Judging by the colors and size I’m certain this is an Eastern Kingbird. I’ve lived here (MD) for 5 years and this is a first. Are these birds naturally aggressive? Danger? I have to small kids. Thanks for any advice or tips.
