Thanks Carol!
Not many shorebirds here yet, but they will be coming shortly. Photo was taken last Fall on Prince Edward Island.
Well done! Not many water birds here in Wyoming… I enjoyed it.
Hi John,
A very good shot indeed. A nice surrounding and a very cool attitude, you can be very happy of it!!

Thanks Chris!
I myself was hidden in the brush as I was photographing this beauty. Got soaking wet and muddy. but well worth it.
Love the way the soft light looks against the grass and the bird.

The GRYL was a young one, probably born in the spring.

Thank you Kim!
Those legs are awesome. Could you imagine that bird in a beauty contest?
My birdie photos look like cartoon characters compared to your beautys…
Oh well…someday i may break down and get a big camera. But I am waiting for the good cameras to get very small. I wonder how long i will have to wait.

Dawn, thanks!
You are too hard on yourself, your photos look nothing like cartoon characters! I love looking at your photos!
The Canon Rebel XTI is not all that big. And my 40D I don’t consider huge. It’s just the lens that makes the whole thing seem big. Maybe someday shorter lenses will do the same as the long lens of today.
John, your shots are great, continue the great work.
Thanks Beth, Andy and Michael!
You captured this beauty in the perfect setting! Excellent!!!
